Day Fourty

Day Fourty - I set up the shot in about five minutes, was all ready to go.. but no one else was. So I waited.. hours. Still no one. I was just about to do another selfy when this guy came along, and saved the day!

Day Thirty Nine

Day Thirty Nine -- It was like pulling teeth trying to get anything but the "I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS" face... But all it took to yank out a smile was a few jokes at my good/her worst friend. Who is this.. uh.. person? oh i'll never tell. . . . for anything short of twenty bucks ;)

Day Thirty Five

Day Thirty Five - Aren't assistants awesome? I would say yes but.. tonight mine was my lovely sister. Yes she can hold a light stand and fix stray hairs I wouldnt even begin to think about.. BUT the complaints! "No, I will not pay you for this. Nice try buster" NEVER STOP
Ask me again in 150 days, but I am pretty sure I can put up with em;)

Day Thiry Two

Day Thirty One - Yes, it was gonna be another selfy, but when I pulled on my hat I saw this guy staring back at me.. and I couldnt resist.
And yes Mahan, this one goes out to you!

Day Thirty One

Day Thirty One - "Where are we going to shoot?" "Oh I don't know... how about the middle of the road?" "What?!" "Oh relax, Doofus"
Why waste time doing something that isn't productive or purposeful? I don't know! Thats why I have stopped (mostly) wasting time, and started doing things that 1. I want to do, and 2. will bring me closer to my goals and dreams. So hey, if you want to shoot day thirty one in the street.. just go do it!

Day Thirty

Day Thirty - "I hold in my hand the eye to generations of Dalton history."
Alright now, all you peeps reading this have eyes.. yeah i'm not just talking about the two your reading this with, i'm talking about the camera you inevitably have. I am challenging you to make a photograph of yourself doing something that you LOVE. Yes, that can be just about anything, but I challenge YOU to document something that you love with ANY camera and share it with the world! No, don't ask questions, don't think about it, just go do it!

Day Twenty Nine

Day Twenty Nine - How can you tell good friends apart from best friends? Yup. The dorkiness. These three wonderful ladies are no exception. The laughter flowed freely, keeping the cold at bay until the hot drinks were steaming in hand

Day Twenty Eight - The lovely Katie and my new backdrop.. also called tablecloths. But back to Katie, as this is one of many of her senior photos, stay tuned!

As for day 28.. the day was long, but the jazz good. Night All

Day Twenty Seven

Day Twenty Seven - The sight of the shopping cart behind subway conjured up memories of the little rascals racing their speedy little box cars. And who doesn't want to ride in a shopping cart?! Its a timeless guilty pleasure, and an awesome photo opportunity!
Note: no homeless men were angered in the making of this picture ;)

Day Twenty Six

Day Twenty Six - JC needed a couple portraits done. I needed day twenty six: it always feels good when you help out a friend by doing something that you love. The chore mentality is gone, so the art just flows.
Remember, art couldn't be art if there wasn't a social aspect to it: so do your part! Let your emotions flow below!

Day Twenty Five

Day Twenty Five - A Selfey. And yes, my arms are at my sides, for there is a.. REMOTE IN MY HAND. Gone are the days of running to and from the camera! But thats not even the best part of the day: my dad returned from a visit with his dad.. with all of his old film gear! A beautiful Olympus and a 50mm f/1.4 No, it doesn't come close to fitting on my camera but.. THANK YOU DUCT TAPE. So here it is: self portrait on a 50 f/1.4. I am quite content. Happy Tuesday!

Day Twenty Four

Day Twenty Four - What does Santa do on vacation? What do you think? If your livin at the north pole you are definitely gonna be skiing. But most don't know that the snow there is oddly similar to crinkled purple strips of paper... Hey, go tell your parents: you learned something today;)
